With a vast array of Harris Tweed wool, Italian leather, and plush velvet fabrics to choose from you could create a statement chair that’s modern and quirky, or traditional and understated. It's possible to mix and match fabrics across the individual sections of the Barkby Chair too. That means you could have a wool back, leather sides, and velvet cushions, in contrasting colours if you so wish! The options are endless! Each of the plump cushions offer excellent support and comfort. They are filled with foam and overlaid with natural fibres, a technique that helps them to keep their shape well. For the perfect finishing touch, you can add oak legs in light, medium, dark or grey oak. We also offer a two, three, and four-seater sofa in the Barkby range so whatever space you have to fill, you can order the perfect configuration. Delivery & Returns
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery is typically within 7–15 working days, subject to stock availability. Deliveries to Scotland usually take 3–4 weeks. If anything changes, we will contact you with an updated delivery date.
Delivery Service
- Standard delivery charge: £34.50.
- Most orders include a two-man delivery to a room of your choice
- Smaller items may be delivered via courier (e.g. Parcelforce Worldwide) to your door
- Some items may arrive via pallet delivery service to your door (subject to the pathway)
- Removal & recycling of all packaging is available in checkout. (some items are excluded)
- Assembly Service
Assembly is available on request — please contact us for a quote
Delivery Attendance
On the day of delivery, the courier will place your items in the room of choice, unpack them, and remove packaging to be recycled, if selected.
You must allow the courier to unpack the items unless agreed with us in advance. If unpacking is refused, the goods may not be left and a re-delivery charge may apply.
Inspection on Delivery
Please inspect all items carefully while the courier is present.
If there are any issues (damage, defects, or unwanted items):
- Ask the courier to note this on the Proof of Delivery (POD)
- Ensure the item(s) are repacked and taken away by the courier.
- We will arrange a replacement as quickly as possible
Once items are signed for in good condition, we are unable to accept claims for damage or defects.
Missed or Delayed Deliveries
If you are not ready to accept delivery, you must inform us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery notification email from us.
Failure to do so may result in storage or re-delivery charges if the order has already been dispatched. Cancelling after dispatch will incur a return charge.

Returns
- Items must be returned in original packaging
- Please unpack carefully and retain all packaging
